The Democratic Alliance is the Bell Pottinger of the Western Cape.
There’s no true vetting of candidate councillors despite that having been a statement of theirs. Councillor Martin Young is dirty proof, implicating Helen Zille by her allowing him into office whilst she possessed evidence of his dark deeds.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) want us to believe their party is a corruption fighting force but that’s marketing bullshit.
The DA’s response to corruption in its ranks is to support it or cover it up. In that they’re infinitely more dangerous than Bell Pottinger – they sold a lie to a third of South Africa, inheriting great power from the deception. They’re now dictatorially in charge of a Province the size of Greece.
Their power seeks to destroy you when you lift it’s skirt to show its devil’s tail.
The ACDP (a.k.a. Judas party), the DA’s alliance partner in Knysna, is evil too. I’ve repeatedly appealed for their intervention but their relationship for power obviously bought their silence. They’re nothing more than greedy sinners earning 30 pieces of silver. The likes of MP Cheryllyn Dudley and Councillor Shakespeare Arends are willing to allow the Public to be crucified, voting with the DA every time, never bringing blatant corruption to the Council agenda. Consequently, they’re not just allowing crime but are sharing the hammer that rams nine-inch nails into a town that should have been loved and protected. I use strong metaphor because political hypocrisy is bad enough without it hiding the smell of its shit in religion.
White bias, prejudice and fear made the DA strong in Knysna but our fire disaster shook people up, gave some courage to ask questions loudly. I’m betting that all the well known parties lose votes to smaller parties next election.
But we can’t wait until 2021. Right now, i’m holding the biggest scandal in the DA’s history. The media will not publish it yet we’ll keep reading what they want us to read. Yes, ANC corruption must be fought but not to the point where it distracts us from corruption in our DA-led towns. Just this week, a reporter wanted to write an article about political intimidation of the Public in Knysna. I bet her that her newspaper wouldn’t publish it. She confirmed that today. The media are as responsible for our country’s mess as the politicians.
Everything in the Western Cape, from the cops to the Public Protector, lives in the corrupt shadow of the DA.
Nevertheless, the only desperate and ironic hope of ours must be for National Government to step into our town. Every decent person who lives here has to hope that Parliament recommends investigation and putting our town under administration.
There are politicians needing punishing!
