It’s important that my hunger strike continues in Government custody lest this effort be pointless. Consequently, I must be arrested next week. My health is ok though a 2km walk almost broke me yesterday. At the halfway mark, I drank a Windhoek quart which was all it took to feel drunk. Nice until I fought nausea for over an hour. I’d work out the outline, chapter headers and half the research. The Knysna Independent Movement (KIM) has registered as a party to fight the Democratic Alliance (DA). It’s unlike other small parties that dot the province like pinpricks instead of injections. It’s arisen as a result of Cape Town trying to control the town by repeatedly trying to kick out two of the more popular councillors – Mayor Mark Willemse and Peter Myers.
