DA loses half its voters in previous Knysna stronghold

Democratic Alliance death in victory Knysna Ward 5 by-election 2019

The Democratic Alliance (DA) has swallowed a bitter election pill in an important Knysna by-election. They lost HALF THEIR VOTERS despite campaigning by Premier Alan Winde, DA Federal Finance Chair Dion George and Shadow Minister for Police Dianne Kohler-Barnard. It’s a victory signaling death in the 2021 Local Elections. And appropriate considering that all those bigweights have failed to act on the DA corruption I reported to them. The cover-up continues… The DA’s decline was emphasised by the recent National Elections, lowered into the well of failed expectations by residents … Read the full article…

Knysna DA Mayor’s wife quits DA, alleges DA intimidation of husband

Mike Hampton Posted on 16th Aug 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

Attorney Dalene Willemse, wife of the Democratic Alliance’s Knysna Mayor, Mark Willemse, and an active Constituency member herself, has explosively quit the DA. She’s cited DA threats against her husband as reason. That’s compounded by his recent heart attack, and him being back at work in between operations. DALENE WILLEMSE’S LETTER On 15 August 2019, Dalene Willemse made a Facebook comment on Knysna Politics Exposed, informing that she had resigned from the DA. She shared a letter she’d sent to the DA on 8 August (view at the bottom of this page) … Read the full article…

Live Debate 6pm: Independent vs DA corruption

Mike Hampton Posted on 13th Aug 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
Radio debate Susan Campbell vs corrupt Democratic Alliance 2019.08.13

UPDATE – Watch the video on Facebook. Step 1 towards taking control of Knysna away from the Democratic Alliance (DA) begins tonight, 13 August 2019, at 6pm. 5 candidates will debate the pending Ward 5 by-election. What likely makes this different is that a DA stronghold is being challenged by Susan Campbell from the recently erected Knysna Independent Movement (KIM). They’re running on an anti-DA corruption platform and are unofficially supported by the Knysna Ratepayers’ Association. This may prove of interest to the Western Cape. It’s symbolic of the backlash … Read the full article…

Dion George, will you protect or clean DA corruption?

Mike Hampton Posted on 11th Aug 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
Dion George DA Democratic Alliance Knysna daorgza

Dion George, you’re the third DA heavyweight (in recent history) to become the Constituency representative to little Knysna (pop. 76,000). Your predecessors, Premier Alan Winde and ex-Premier Helen Zille, are implicated in crime there so it seemed obvious that their constitutional power was meant to be selfish rather than representative. Your intention is the question now. As the latest big shot (DA Federal Finance Chairperson), are you going to represent Knysna or corruption first? Logically, cleaning the DA would benefit both the town and your party in the long run, … Read the full article…

Fadiel Adams responds to CPT threat to arrest him

Mike Hampton Posted on 11th Aug 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
Fadiel Adams Gatvol Capetonians versus Democratic Alliance

Fadiel Adams is well known as the leader of Gatvol Capetonians. They’re an organisation fighting for housing for the coloured community which forms the majority of residents. His adversary is the City of Cape Town, led by the Democratic Alliance (DA). There are unfair claims that the city is the most unequal when comparing the rich to the poor. But South Africa, as a whole, is one of the worst in the world, and, nationally, Cape Town makes the top 10. It’s more noticeable in Cape Town because of the … Read the full article…
