Counting Chickens…
The Knysna-Plett Herald and the Cape Times reported that Parliament had asked the Public Protector to investigate my allegations of local government corruption.
Neither newspaper asked me for a comment.
It’s odd that the these two newspapers have info ahead of me, the petitioner. I reiterate that i’ve yet to receive any notification from Parliament regards new developments.
However, the response from the public has been fantastic. I’m very appreciative for it because it shows that our hearts desire is for our town to be mended and for this mess to be behind us.
But we shouldn’t count chickens before they hatch. Dealing with government can be difficult when it comes to communication and getting decisions.
I’ll only believe in an investigation once i’ve proof in my hands.
