DA Poo #10 – DA bans me for property question
This is another example of why Mmusi Maimane’s Democratic Alliance is NOT an anti-corruption, good governance or transparency party. If you don’t do what they want, they will suppress you.
With screenshots, I’ll show you how I got banned from the Facebook page of the Knysna Democratic Alliance (note that 2 and a half years of comments and questions have been deleted from their top post). It involved a controversial property deal that their leadership wanted to go ahead. The ISDF would plan Knysna’s future for 30 years – where people, roads, businesses and everything else will go. That equates to it being the ultimate property deal.
The DA hoped to install the same plan everywhere. But they chose the wrong town to test it in. Susan Campbell, another resident, and I ensured that the town was aware of the corruption in the first tender. It was given to property developers who never won it.
The tender fraud implicates Anton Bredell. He’s both the Chairperson of the Western Cape DA and the MEC Local Government. He hid the damning investigation against it and gave the go-ahead for the tender. Then he lied about it, three times, in the Western Cape Legislature. The Municipality and the DA then lied to Parliament, that nothing was wrong… then hypocritically got rid of the Municipal Manager, laying the blame on him. That despite the DA having voted for it and protected it for years, against the Public’s wishes.
Regular readers know this already so let me just skip to the screenshots. Pay attention to the comment section.

I’m commenting as Love Knysna…

All I was wanted was a reasonable answer from the political party who continually claims good governance. But the DA’s response was to delete my question. It was wrong but to be expected. That’s just part of how they always treated me. The month before, the Knysna Municipality, my government, had banned me on Twitter, only three months after we and the DA had appeared in Parliament together. But back to the DA’s FB page, here was my second attempt…

I tried a third time…

The DA deleted me for a third time. I went to their ‘fair policy’ post, which they’d glued to the top of their page.

Again, it was a fair question yet they deleted it and banned me.

They were also deleting awkward questions from residents too. This one referred to the threat by the DA to put me in jail, requesting money from the Public to help them do it.
Only 10 days to go before you get my book, ‘Same Shit, Different Government: Book 1 – The Corruption & The Intimidation’.
