The Democratic Alliance’s (DA) Jaco Londt has been given until this afternoon to provide reasons why he shouldn’t be suspended.
He is the DA’s East Region Chairperson (Knysna, Plett, Kannaland, Mosselbay & Hessequa) and a member of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP).
Allegedly, it relates to accusations of verbal abuse. To me, that suggests that this is an internal political move.
If James Selfe, the Head of the Federal Executive, and Premier Helen Zille were fair people, they’d be kicking Londt out for repeatedly failing to address serious Knysna issues. They would be kicking him out for allowing compromised DA candidates and councillors to exist within the party.
Jaco Londt was well aware of the dirty propaganda campaign the DA ran against me. And he was well aware of the many issues suggesting DA crime and maladministration… BEFORE i presented them to Parliament.
The only way to get rid of terrible DA politicians seems to be for them to piss off other terrible DA politicians. Right and wrong doesn’t seem to enter the equation.
Public service is dead. Long live political self-service.
