Dr Louis Scheepers, you’ve ‘inherited’ Knysna Municipality, a never-ending parade of rotten municipal managers and politicians falling on the Public sword.
Considering that you relinquished your new post in Cape Town, you’ve extra desire for this job, and would want to be considered for permanent position. I’m hoping that works out for our town. Knysna is a tremendously pretty place for your family to relocate to.
And we need someone who puts the fight against corruption first. Is that you?
The mistake of your predecessors was in choosing a faction, which always led to the protection of corruption. I’m requesting that you be the first to never compromise, and to only act on the facts before you. Put the Pubic first. Be our #1 staff member.
We need change. If so, you’ll end my banning and speak to me. Though you will have done your homework, and my name would’ve come up in conversation, the attachments are on-the-record motivation [included corruption summary, affidavit, complaint against Bredell etc.].
I may want that change, and want to cooperate 100% towards it, but I’d be a fool to do so without reservation considering the past 10 years of Knysna Municipality hurting us, and hurting me. Consequently, I’ll address you publicly so that there’s record you were warned about the corruption. It would be handy to chat to you before then so that you react better, more responsibly and informatively. A failure to react would be indication that we’ve simply descended to the next level of hell.
A CROSSROADS FOR KNYSNA
This period is especially important considering that the budget hasn’t been passed, you have a corrupt CFO and creditors are wobbily – I’m considering addressing those creditors on Monday because those who are currently representing us should be suspended.
I’ve left a message on Kirsty Hofhuis’s landline, CCied her and Christopher Bezuidenhout here, and emailed you via Facebook. If someone else reads this email and doesn’t present it to you, their head should roll. The buck cannot be passed. You can stop that now. Assume responsibility, become Knysna’s friend.
Please provide me your cellphone number.
In advance, with optimism, thank you.
