You should be worried about what the DA has become. I’ve made repeated calls for constituents to make it a better party but it’s obvious that no one is listening.

I told you to expect the attacks on me to increase because of my submission to Parliament and because elections are near, even nearer for the DA to choose their candidates.

My prediction came true quickly. The political attacks have increased exponentially this week, some of those I’ve criticised breaking cover to be very loud and very defamatory. It’s encouraged a scurry of nasty town’s folk to crawl out the mouldy floorboards.

I won’t give examples of the latter now but instead focus on a few of the many outlandish statements made against me by public figures and their closest allies:

a) Deputy Mayor Esme Edge (who lives in the rich suburb of Brenton): “And cost us millions in tourism! While people are dying, his ego prevails.” [yes, some people take shit like that seriously]

b) Advocate Julie Seton (who lives in Brenton): “The only reason he achieves 20,000 views is that he is using uninformed donors money to pay to boost his posts, it is damaging our town to the extent we are losing massive investment.” [we know she’s involved with most court cases against me but she refuses to publicly state which DA politician she’s married to – is that love?]

c) DA Councillor Peter Myers (who lives in Brenton): “It is now reasonable to conclude that the only reason that you continue with your allegations against the Knysna Municipality is to benefit from it commercially by generating more traffic to your site.”

d) DA Constituent Committee Judy Harrison (head of Brenton Ratepayers’ Association, no kidding, Brenton again): “I actually cannot believe that anyone in this town takes him seriously! He berated a friend of mine yesterday because she dared to comment on his page, she phoned me in a complete state – so the bully tactics start again.” [of course, she fails to mention what her friend did, sadly someone i mistakenly cared about – that’s the only thing that hurt me this week… but Knysna is more important than ‘friendships’].

e) Candidate DA Councillor Dr Martin Young: “As a medical doctor I know a parasite when I see one.”

f) SAPS Captain Dewald Kitching: “If only the people of Knysna stop enabling him, he will have to pack his bags and go!! Hopefully to a place far far from here.”

e) Mark Allan (operating with temporary impunity from Thailand): “Watch his Facebook page. Instead of exposing himself to a debate he can’t win, he is befriending yet another teenage girl and using it to promote himself as the concerned and conscientious member of the community. This is so wrong.”

The last one, by Mark Allan who I have a Protection order against, is an ongoing campaign of his to paint me in very poor light with kids and teens (that needs its own article).

I haven’t, as said, gotten to the craziest posts. Disturbingly, considering that the Democratic Alliance are supposed to be our leaders, the voice of reason and responsible government, the DA is actively supporting mad propaganda (i can prove it… but that will be next week’s article and scandal).

Those supporting the posts (with shares, likes or comments) include Speaker and DA Councillor Eleonor Bouw-Spies (she will get her very own article), DA Councillor Mark Willemse, the Knysna DA as a whole, and DA Eastern Regional (Eden District) Secretary, Tertius Simmers.

There was a proposed debate with Councillor Peter Myers but he repeatedly failed to respond to questions so that it was never confirmed. That never stopped him from loudly insulting me. I will blog the full story with emails and screenshots next week too.

Ask yourself why the Knysna Municipality and our politicians have refused to deal with me for years but suddenly crawl out of the shadows in a big attempt to discredit me? The only thing of note that has happened was my submission to Parliament. If you’ ‘ve read it, you’ll know that their propaganda Facebook page, which refuses to reveal the identity of the ladies behind it, is totally lying about me not providing evidence.
