Dr Michele Gratz must go! Today is supposed to be her last day as Knysna’s devious Acting Municipal Manager. But the day isn’t over… and I did say she’s devious.
THE DA NEEDED A DEVIL
Over the past 2 weeks, the Knysna Democratic Alliance (DA) and the DA-controlled Western Cape Government destabilised Knysna in order to take control away from the ANC. Their shared black heart is a fight between criminals for power. Us 86,000 citizens of Knysna are collateral damage, our blood spurting uselessly in potholes as it has since 2011 when the DA took charge with an election promise they’ve never fulfilled – TRANSPARENCY.
The DA needed a small devil to fulfill its plans. Dr Michele Gratz climbed the ladder from below to sit in the comfortable chair in the big office with the big salary in the double-storey building in Hyde Street. A sulphur-addicted queue formed outside her door. There are always those willing to sell their soul, and then they sell the lie that they’re saving us.
SAINT JEKYLL & DEVIL HYDE
Propaganda has promoted Gratz as the angel we need. However, she doesn’t act equally against the corrupt, intimidates staff, and has been in underhanded conflict of interest in trying to transition herself from a temporary contract to a longer term administrator. Her resignation shocked and awed with a conspiracy theory she won’t prove, and was immediately backed by an unholy marketing campaign she’s failed to distance herself from.
The propaganda has been promoted by Knysna Knews, a quasi community page that pretends to be nice by sharing other people’s links, but shows its true face when self-authoring misinformation and lies for the DA. It’s normal for them to delete the majority of comments so that only the lies remain.
Other agitators and propagandists for this one-sided agenda have been people related or involved in property, and an ex-private tourism company that was being illegally funded with government funds. I became an activist with those being my first issues – what’s happening now is the familiar running of ants beneath my skin. There’s cause to shiver.
The DA likes to state how great Gratz is but skips over the burning coal that is Marius Botha, a man with a fake degree. She hired him as the Chief Financial Officer for Mossel Bay Municipality after he had been charged with fraud. She paid him well for 3 years, until he went to jail. I will explain more in a later article but the immediate concern is that she has shown favouritism for Knysna’s Chief Financial Officer, Mbulelo Memani, whose been accused of fraud too.
She earned her nickname – ConGratz must go. And we must apply perspective because she was only the smallest and latest devil in Knysna.
WHAT’S BLOOD GOT TO DO WITH IT?
If you can’t imagine Tina Turner singing, “What’s Blood Got to Do with It’, then you’re probably a literal person misunderstanding my blog. That’s ok. It’s probable that most chartered accountants have a different sense of humour to musicians. We don’t have to all be be the same. But I want you to know that my expressiveness is rightful.
MICHELE GRATZ’S 13-DAY TIMELINE
Today is supposed to be Gratz’s last day but that doesn’t mean that the DA’s plan to control the town ends. They may yet win, and Gratz with her fake anti-corruption message may return.
