For 2 weeks, a Durban fundraising team from Doctors Without Borders parked themselves in Knysna in order to bring awareness to the cause. Their first week was spent in Knysna Mall whilst the second was in Woodmill Lane. Local hospitality went deeper than that with George Rex Hotel accommodating them and restaurants, such as île de païn, treating them with food that makes our town proud.

The KEEP and Chaplin’s Coffee Bar were quick to contribute and the 5 ladies were treated to coffee and lunch every day for the duration of their Woodmill Lane stay.

Thanks to all helped show them that Knysna is one of the warmest towns to visit. Thanks too to all who donated. Despite being out of season, the team surpassed their quotas and yell a big THANK YOU!
