Annually, a Dutch couple who founded and run Immanuel Industries in Knysna, ask locals to assist with entertainment for their end of the year function. Normally only in Oupad, this year, for the first time, White Location was added.
Some of the kids got a dance troupe together. Despite them being a bit out of step at times, they had a good time and got strong applause.
Jaco Botha, a columnist for the Knysna-Plett Herald, brought his guitar and love for music with. I was impressed that the song the Xhosa kids loved the most (and sang-a-long to) was in Afrikaans.
The Magic Man (sponsored by Lawyer.co.za) absolutely delighted the kids with rope and egg tricks. You can see the astonished laughter in these photos.
People helping people, especially kids, must always be applauded! Well done to all those involved.
