I have had many court cases laid against me. I have claimed that they all involve the DA, a consequence of me uncovering their corruption in Knysna. I have alleged that this political dirtiness has been covered up locally and provincially, from Knysna Mayor Georlene Wolmarans to Premier Helen Zille.
The DA claims that all the defamation and harassment cases against me are undertaken in personal capacities and thus not in the name of their political party. Anyone whose dug into my blogs would understand how ridiculous that is in reality.
Consequently, for me, every case becomes evidence in a larger case i believe must be defined as “organised crime”.
I believe that the legal system is being abused. If i win a case in Magistrates Court, good. If i lose one, i have to take it to High Court. The eventual goal, an ambitious one, must be to have the Constitutional Court introduce anti-SLAPP Legislation. We appear to have none in South Africa, none to protect us little guys from big business and powerful political parties.
“A strategic lawsuit against public participation (SLAPP) is a lawsuit that is intended to censor, intimidate, and silence critics by burdening them with the cost of a legal defense until they abandon their criticism or opposition. Such lawsuits have been made illegal in many countries on the grounds that they impede freedom of speech.” – source Wikipedia.
