The SAPS in the Western Cape have been protecting the corruption of the Democratic Alliance. The offices of President Cyril Ramaphosa, Minister Police Bheki Cele and Hawks Chief Lieutenant General Godfrey Lebeya are allowing it.
The simple fact is that I’m constantly pursued by corrupt politicians yet the Government isn’t pursuing them. That isn’t coincidence. That’s collusion. And collusion is criminal. Who do I turn to when the people who are supposed to help are the ones doing the hurting?
South Africa is a country for the powerful, not for the People.
SERVING THE POWERFUL
Initially, in Knysna, the local cops were intimidating towards me. They were so arrogant that a Captain even went on a DA Facebook page to tell me to leave town.
The Western Cape Policing Complaints Center went silent towards me almost two years ago.
The Hawks previously failed to investigate two complaints, leading to millions more of taxpayers money lost. Now they have blatantly whitewashed their analysis, ignoring the majority of the evidence which implicates the DA and their cronies.
My complaint to Lieutenant General Godfrey Lebeya and Minister Bheki Cele has fallen on deaf ears for over 5 months, despite senior staff having initially acknowledged it, and me having read receipts for the follow-ups.
COMPLAINT TO GENERAL GODFREY LEBEYA AND MINISTER BHEKI CELE
“Attention: Minister Bheki Cele & Lieutenant General Advocate Godfrey Lebeya
CC: President Cyril Ramaphosa

THE HAWKS CONTINUE TO PROTECT THE DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE
Minister Bheki Cele and Lieutenant General Advocate Godfrey Lebeya, I’m hoping you prevent me from awful but necessary decision. All that’s required of you is to be dutiful.
I remain deeply worried that the Hawks (DCPI) you command have no intention to meaningfully investigate Democratic Alliance-linked (DA) corruption.
If you require a refresher, please re-read my previous emails to you before continuing.
On October 29 2018, Colonel Piet Bergh, the Western Cape Provincial Commander of the Priority Crime Management Centre for the DCPI (Hawks), released his assessment into my complaints, and recommendations thereto. It’s a mockery of justice and permission for corruption to flourish.
I initially wanted to make the best of its poor footing, praise its small bits and pieces in the hope of extension into hard reality, the bigger jigsaw puzzle, but have reconsidered because history has shown that any compromise of mine has resulted in abuse by the corrupt, their corruption growing, the citizens of Knysna financially harmed and, in the case of Knysna ANC Councillor Molosi, death.
The problem began in 2013 but let me rather discuss this episode, why the report compiled by Colonel Bergh, Colonel Abdul Enus and Captain Van Dyk is absurd.
THE HAWKS HAVE NO INTENTION OF HELPING
At the first meeting this year, in Knysna, Colonel Enus never accepted my affidavits and cancelled his second meeting with me. My concern continued when Colonel Bergh preferred that his and Captain Van Dyk’s meeting with me in Durban be off-the-record so that we could speak more frankly and productively. He seemed helpful at the time but not having that record is now counter-productive, maybe deliberately so.
The report is Colonel Bergh acting in different manner to his spoken intentions.
Firstly, his report ignores much of what I presented via strong affidavits (I’m hoping you have read them, especially the founding affidavit).
For example, the first issue, where this mess began, was the illegal funding of the company called Knysna Tourism, and consequent financial shenanigans that now affect the Western Cape. Despite my affidavit opening with that issue for 10 pages, and being accompanied by lots of primary and secondary evidence, it was excluded from analysis and recommendation. Even the investigation by Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr Attorneys, which alone should have resulted in investigation, was ignored.
There was only oblique reference to the tourism issue, not in words or description, but as as old “Knysna CAS 105/2015” which was put in the slippery hands of the Hawks. In no manner could that be the whole story as “Knysna Tourism”, as said, wasn’t mentioned, and I’ve submitted new info.
Furthermore, my complaint was also against the conduct of the Hawks regarding it during that year of 2015. The Hawks never investigated the case which is required before handing it to the NPA. I was never asked a single question and, to the best of my knowledge, no one involved was questioned. Instead, I was blandly informed that a prosecutor had declined to investigate; the reasoning not provided and the identity of the prosecutor kept hidden. I’d even stated, in one of my two affidavits at the time, that I expected the cases to be buried if given to the George Cluster. That’s exactly what happened, and now the Hawks are burying it again.
Colonel Bergh knew this, claimed he would get answers and hold anyone accountable (if necessary), yet now he’s suddenly and contrarily dismissive.
That’s more troubling since I was clear that the situation affects the intended rising of MEC Alan Winde to the position of Premier of the Western Cape. What happened in Knysna has allegedly been repeated across the Western Cape, under him as MEC Tourism. Premier Helen Zille has been aware all along so this week’s news that she’s to become the regional manager, in charge of Knysna, is to be expected – for them, the cover-up has to continue because so many can be implicated via the Prevention & Combatting of Corruption Act (which isn’t mentioned in Colonel Bergh’s report).
Furthermore, the tourism issue was the beginning of the intimidation against me, something I consider the most important. Premier Helen Zille and others allowed it the threats to continue, the DA even rewarding and protecting some of those involved. Colonel Bergh’s report acts as if none of it existed. He doesn’t mention it at all.
My complaint regarding the Knysna Fire – a fraudulent investigation into a R3-billion disaster that had illegal appointees in charge, and further intimidation of me – was bizarrely reduced by Bergh’s report into only a racist incident involving an individual in Cape Town, dismissed as not needing investigation because the alleged racist resigned.
The Hawks are insulting those who suffered and died.
Bergh recommends that the ISDF tender be investigated but that’s out of sync with his dismissal of old case 106/2015 which concerns the ISDF. Additionally, he leaves out that DA MEC Anton Bredell is involved for favouring property developers, and that there’s video of him blatantly lying about it to the Western Cape Parliament (which, alone, is damning). Although I don’t expect them to act, Colonel Bergh’s failure to mention Bredell found me, yesterday, submitting a complaint to the Speaker Sharna Fernandez (see attached), who has acknowledged it.
In fact, there’s such blatant removal of the main issues and political players involved, that its fair for me to ask if the Hawks are continuing to protect the corrupt, particularly the DA.
That suspicion is aggravated by Colonel Bergh subtly seeking to discredit me by suggesting that some of my evidence isn’t evidence. How could that be if he’s ignored much of it, and failed to question me on any he considers suspect?
He also undermines my credibility by stating that I haven’t followed the correct process, complaining to many, including President Cyril Ramaphosa. It’s too convenient for Bergh to comment whilst excluding the failure by the police and politicians to act on my complaints, and their associated attempts to intimidate me. Bergh also has no right to stop me contacting my President, especially when so many agencies under the President’s command have failed.
That Bergh dismisses several of my complaints because they’ve been referred to the Public Protector is horrendous because I was asking him to investigate the Office of the Public Protector for protecting the DA. He makes the Hawks an accomplice.
In diluted fashion, and ignoring a parallel investigation, 2 matters were referred to Colonel Christelle Stemmet at the Hawks Anti-Corruption Task team. She hasn’t contacted me the past 17 days [over 4 months at the time of this post].
PUBLIC PROTECTOR REQUIRES INVESTIGATION, NOT AN ACCOMPLICE
I have lived in, and dealt with, darkness for too long for Bergh’s ridiculous report to surprise me.
It follows hot on the heels of the George Office of the Public Protector’s report into 13 of my complaints. I predicted it would be a whitewash which it was.
Like Colonel Bergh’s report, investigator Gideon Landman avoids most of my evidence and mention of implicated DA members who are in positions of government.
See my attached exposure of the Public Protector’s report [attached Deception of the Public Protector], as sent to Parliament in relation to my Love Knysna Petition which is suppose to conclude next time its tabled. I want you to acknowledge that I’ve made strong argument worthy of investigation. After all, that report should be part of your investigations.
I could also decimate Colonel Bergh’s report point-by-point but that seems repetitive and fruitless until someone higher up, such as you, has looked at context and shown intention to do the right thing.
THE DIFFICULT PATH TOWARDS ENDING THIS BULLSHIT
There’s conspiracy. If you read my affidavits and evidence, you’ll realise that my claim is from a position of sanity, fact and hardship.
Although there are improper political allegiances by government bodies nationwide, the Western Cape can be addressed in its own context. There, the DA has been given a free ride. The Hawks seem happy for that free ride to continue (at the Public’s expense).
I’ve had no help for 8 years. I’ve only experienced obstruction. My evidence of corruption is too good and that period too long for coincidence. The DA are being directly and indirectly assisted by biased and incompetent government bodies. Negative forces are afoot, and the nearing election makes the stakes higher.
I’d hoped that your Hawks would put their best foot forward. It didn’t!
Minister Cele and General Lebeya, I’m asking you to have people from OUTSIDE THE WESTERN CAPE assess my complaints and extensively interview me, even interrogate me (if you must). And to treat that with urgency.
But before all that, I want you to show me, in some meaningful way, that you’re people of honour. And begin by telling me that the threats and propaganda against me is not only wrong but evil that must be punished. I will never trust someone until they acknowledge the pressure I’ve been under.
I’m left with unappealing options.
The corrupt don’t care for defence in the Public interest. It’s only a matter of time before rotten Magistrates’ serving the DA have me arrested for contravention of any of the numerous orders meant to illegally silence me for speaking out against their corruption. I’d rather die on my own terms than in jail.
In January, I will publish a book [was released 3 months later], explaining all that’s happened and that South Africa is beyond redemption, particularly because there are no impartial law bodies. The only time major political corruption seems to be punished is not because its the right thing to do but rather because there’s political score to settle. If necessary, to ensure every rotten person I’ve encountered is exposed, I’ll stop selling it and give it away online.
The book will ensure I break every order of the Corrupt Court, so time will not be on my side, encouraging me to bring this to an end, win or lose.
I’ll go on a hunger strike to try force major players to meet with me on record, as well to try attract foreign attention. If the DA or SAPS makes a move against me before then, then that speeds up the timetable.
I’ve emailed the Presidency my intentions, hoping Cyril Ramaphosa will step in. But you can too.
I’m not a martyr. I hope to live to a very old age where I enjoy the beach, books and interesting conversations. But I refuse to carry on living in constant worry or give up on the town that I love (where I can no longer live). I must have control of my life.
And by telling you my intentions, I’m forced to proceed or be labelled as a fool, my anti-corruption work discredited for no good reason but association. I’m hoping that I’m not too proud, and that my work is important enough, that I not become that fool, that I not become a liar in this country of lies I despise.
I had intended going silent for two months, starting tomorrow, so that I best prepare; first a timeline of all that’s happened, then the book. That means my phone switched off and my emails unread (except for one day in between when I set several related actions in motion).
Hopefully you find time in your busy lives to respond tomorrow (Friday). If not, I’m going to make one exception to my forthcoming silence which is to call your office on Monday afternoon, hoping there’s response from you (and that you hate corruption as much as I do).
To be exceptional leaders in our politically perverted South Africa, all you have to do is be good.
