Gardening at Leisure offers garden lovers of Knysna the opportunity to share their interest with like-minded people. Their club has a range of activities and events designed to meet the needs of anyone wishing to add a social dimension to their interest in gardening.

The Club was founded in 2003 by Sheena Maree and Denise Voysey who is currently Chairperson. Esther Townsend is Treasurer.

They are an informal and friendly group, and no matter what your gardening ability and gardening knowledge is, you can look forward to pleasant company, interesting guest speakers and a good tea at our meetings.

They meet on the first Friday morning of the month (with the exception of January and July, when no meetings take place). The venues are at different localities, sometimes in members’ gardens or at places of interest.

The Club’s mission is to promote the love of gardening, to cultivate gardening interest in its broadest sense,  and to promote environmental responsibility.
