I don’t like Patricia de Lille – that doesn’t matter. I don’t know if she’s innocent or guilty but, practically, that also doesn’t matter. What matters is that the DA only seems to hypocritically pursue people when there’s a jostling inside the DA for power, when a faction has something to gain.

They make us know that we, the Public, cannot rely on them, that we’re irrelevant to them whilst they involved in a power game we’re not invited to.

I may call it a joke but it’s a very, very, very sick joke when the DA falls back on their mantras of “good governance”, “accountability” and “transparency” whilst their real pursuit is selfishness.

I despise what the ANC has done to our country. I despise that the DA are trying to become the ANC.

I hope De Lille forms a new party that dilutes the consolidation of power in the Western Cape cause when parties get too big, they hurt us more.
