I WILL LAY CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST YOU.
To the Knysna-Plett Herald, particularly Editor Elaine King and Group Editors Director Nicole Rimbault, you continue to allow Mark Allan, the DA’s propagandist pal, the man you know I have a protection order against, to defile me with the blessing from your Facebook page. The past week has been despicable.
I’m going to make it very simple for you.
- Civil action will come but must wait its turn in this political mess you’ve embroiled yourself in.
- Separately, I’m reporting you to the Ombudsman again. 3 articles in a row about me and Parliament yet you never, as usual, contacted me – a description of bullshit journalism doesn’t cover your bias.
- More important and immediate is that if you do not publish (online and in print) a sincere apology to me, accompanied by a front-page article about the nefarious role of Mark Allan, including his connection to the DA e.g. Dr Martin Young, I will be laying criminal charges against both of you, in your personal capacity. That must arrive with a commitment to fair moderation, banning his profile and fake profiles (which he’ll undoubtedly create after you ban him).
You have until Monday to meet me and until Thursday, June 8, to meet your publishing commitment.
Failure to act like human beings who have a memory of what fair journalism is will result in me laying criminal charges against you both this month – guaranteed! I’m not tolerating your crimes against me and our town anymore.
I highly recommend that you start thinking hard about how to fix the big picture too. It’s disgraceful that a newspaper with our town’s name in it works against us.
NB: A warning to the journalists of the Knysna-Plett Herald. You don’t get to point fingers at the editor or director. You must accept responsibility for your articles. An omission is media sin too.
