Knysna Mayor Eleonore Spies went from a business opening to declaring her Christianity at a press conference at 34 Degrees South Restaurant.

SPIES IS NOT A CHRISTIAN

Mayor Eleonore Spies has no shame. She isn’t a Christian. She’s a corrupt mayor presiding over a corrupt regime that’s dangerously in charge of rebuilding our town after the Great Fire destroyed over 1000 houses, 2600 jobs and a substantial part of our natural environment (the draw card for our tourist-based economy).

Everyone’s right to freedom of religion must be respected but to use it for political image is sickening, made worse by the insult to people from other religions who are helping our town during this crisis. What happened to tolerance, respect and representing everyone?

Name and shame the church that let’s her in their door. That kind of church is dishonest, blasphemous and idolatrous (Pastor, our politicians are not Gods for marketing your tithe collection). The only good reason for Mayor Spies to walk into a church is to confess cause if she isn’t fighting corruption then she’s corrupt. And if the church is welcoming the corrupt, then it too is corrupt.

Unless Mayor Spies commits to honesty, transparency and investigation into my many allegations of corruption, the only door that should be opened for her is into a jail cell or the hell she allegedly believes in.

But there’s one other door, wherein she can try prove me wrong…

DON’T SAY I’M WRONG, PROVE ME WRONG

Mayor Eleonore Spies, i have challenged you to a public question and answer session. Your continuous refusal to stand up and be counted is testimony to your lack of leadership and akin to statement of guilt. I dare you prove me wrong in front of the 76,000 people of Knysna you claim to represent.

To readers who’re offended by my post, note i don’t give a damn because you’re then supporting corruption too. If you don’t love our town enough to care about the homeless and unemployed, shame on you. Knysna’s long-held notions of sensibility and social airs is self-serving, ridiculous in its uselessness for everyone else. If any species should be killed by our fire, its the gossipers and image seekers, and the two-faced who do charity for that purpose. Don’t twist that. I don’t wish anyone dead. I wish for the death of falsehood and other damaging human characteristics. Wanting to rub shoulders with the people destroying our town makes you destroyers too. If you love Knysna, you have to be honest, fair and willing to risk your reputation. Prove something matters to you!
