In controversy, we discover who’s who in our Knysna zoo. There are far too many crazy monkeys for comfort.

I posted a link regarding the alleged theft of donation funds. I clearly stated that I never knew if it was true or not but in the comment section leaned towards it being untrue, repeatedly saying that the main issue was the lack of government communication. I also stated that if it were untrue, I wanted our Municipality to squash the falsehood quickly.

In a democracy, where government works for us, I could have just emailed the Communications Department of the Municipality to have them say, “Thanks for telling us, Mike. We’ll send you a press statement as quickly as possible, as well as send it out to all media whilst reporting the offending news agency.”

So why have they yet to respond to my email? Why, instead, has there been hysteria and personal attack.

Enter DA Councillor Martin Young and some of our previous politicians who’ve repeatedly refused to respond to my DETAILED EVIDENCE of their corruption. Their failed propaganda campaigns and threats against me are well known. They never learn their lesson so saw this as another opportunity to try discredit me.

Earlier this week, Young slandered me after I called for fire victims to stand together. No sane person would consider that as appropriate government response? Unfortunately, there are monkeys who did.

In Young’s comment section, a lot of nasty things were said. Among them was marketer and copywriter Ashley Barnes who tried to make out that I was a danger to children. That’s totally in character with Young’s Facebook groups that previously associated me with child abuse and a missing child from Khayalethu. His favourite past time is to label me as a sociopath, pretending his credentials as an ear, nose and throat doctor extend to psychology and can justify that he threatened local businesses if they dealt with me, even asking them to donate money to put me in jail.

Young isn’t the King of the Nuts but he tries hard to be more than he is which isn’t much. He’s always supported by the same screaming nuts who can never answer simple questions or follow links to documents supporting my position. They think screaming is a language.

Helen Zille knows all this. The problem is that by backing compromised people she’s compromised herself. She’s now liable with them so she’s unwilling to stop them, possibly hoping that their ugly lies about me and continuous court cases will break me.

I don’t play their games or pretend local social graces to make horrible, useless people happy. I also don’t pander to the wilful ignorance that’s destroying our country. Instead, I make it clear that I despise our government’s corruption, their disregard for us and their abuse of power.

I made a decision to call a spade a spade, a duck a duck and an arsehole an arsehole. If anyone doesn’t value my honesty then they’re speaking a language I don’t understand, a language that’s a handicap in the crisis aftermath of our fire.

There’s a donation problem. If you refuse to realise that, if you’re happy to let your fellow citizens suffer, then you’re that duck and spade’s arsehole I was talking about.

Wanting transparency, honesty and positive communication shouldn’t have to be demanded. It should’ve been a natural part of our everyday life in a democracy where Government cares.

I have a large target on my back. Give me credit for standing up whilst no one else is doing it for us. Don’t criticise me from your position of cowardice. You’ll never win that debate or respect from anyone that matters.
