Last week, the head of the Knysna Municipality’s Communications Department, Fran Kirsten, said that she will not deal with me cause i’m a blogger. She then deleted questions of mine that she didn’t want to answer from the Knysna Municipality’s Facebook page.
Kirsten won’t even allow me to run a monthly feature praising the best municipal employee (there are great people in our government, it’s the leaders who are terrible).
A few days later, Councillor Dr. Martin Young blames me for lack of staff morale!
Their lack of love and irony is fattened by the fact that Mayor Eleonore Spies ran her election campaign on the promise of better communication.
The situation is worsened by the Knysna-Plett Herald which has become more their sidekick than a newspaper.
I dedicate this post to them, those who refuse to deliver the truth to Knysna, but especially to Councillor Young for his hateful tirades against me in the Knysna-Plett Herald’s blue flag comment section. He chose not to help our town with answers. Instead, he was joined by the same crew that tried to bring me down with the sick, false claims of me being a danger to children, the same people who used to hangout or run the hate pages Hampton Factor and Wicked Knysna, sites i eventually got Facebook to take down.
Very unbecoming of the Democratic Alliance. Give us logic and facts, not hate, personalities and propaganda.
DA supporters, please question your party. Don’t take this as an attack on you. Respond to what you witness yourself. Clean your party from within. Make it better, make it stronger!
That applies to every party – the DA, COPE, ANC, ACDP and the KUC. The better all parties are, the better Knysna we will have.
Love Knysna, Save Knysna!
Mike
PS: No. 4, Councillor Young.
PS2: OOPS: Google title should read 100,000 – one too many noughts in there. I wish. Was rushing to court.
