I OFFER MY OPEN DOOR IN RESPONSE
TO YOUR THREAT TO SUE ME & FALSELY HOLD ME CRIMINALLY LIABLE
“The Western Cape Government stands for good governance and corrupt-free administration.”
Helen Zille, I am guilty of loving my town of Knysna and fighting crime. You want me punished for that.
It’s disturbing when the government you represent blocks communication and refuses investigation, resorting to threat and cover-up. I consider your legal letter part of that.
“Who benefits most from these negative actions.” The answer is, “The Democratic Alliance (DA).”
A problem with the Western Cape Government is that it cannot separate its responsibility of office from its loyalty to the DA. There’s been failure to separate party and state.
Attorney Fiona Stewart may have used a Western Cape Government letterhead to represent you against me but it’s blatantly obvious that you are all well known DA figures.
In Court, it will be easy to demonstrate the relationship between the two, and thus the conflict of interest which is the only logical reason why all of you have failed your duty, to me and my fellow citizens of the Western Cape.
It also cannot be ignored that your letter is consistent with the DA’s and the Knysna Municipality’s bullying of me through propaganda (child abuse, sociopathy etc.), strategic lawsuits and direct threat.
Helen, the intimidation has been with your knowledge. You personally allowed one of the criminals involved to become a DA councillor after your meeting with me. You are made further complicit by your refusal to respond to my many desperate appeals for assistance over the years. Your letter deepens your culpability.
It’s obvious that my activism and whistleblowing is seen by you to be a menace, your consequent retaliation aimed at self-interest entwined in political interest. You treat me as threat to the Western Cape you have conquered and the authoritarianism you’ve installed. It’s the DA way to destroy what disagrees with you. Surely that applies more so to those who have evidence against you?
I’ve provided you, DA Leader Mmusi Maimane and the DA Federal Executive with strong evidence of maladministration and corruption. Involved in those activities are MEC Alan Winde, MEC Anton Bredell and a host of councillors and public servants.
Owing to your failure to investigate and punish those intimidators, as well as linked tender corruption, illegal appointments, cronyism etc., I chose to be a responsible citizen who warns the Public that they are being harmed.
Your professed indignation is contrary to the expected duty of a responsible government official or political representative. Truth in the Public interest is supposed to be important to everyone, especially you.
You should have upheld the code of ethics, the DA’s or the government’s. There should have been, respectively, disciplinary hearings and a commission of inquiry. That you did nothing makes you and your colleagues in contravention of the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act. That you reacted appallingly adds the contravention of the Intimidation Act.
Although those will eventually become a matter for the Hawks or the President’s Special Investigating Unit, you could have prevented it by choosing to be on the positive side of the law and your service. You could have approached the SAPS yourself as the DA did with Patricia de Lille.
Despite the DA’s crimes I’ve suffered, I offered meetings for the sake of Knysna. The DA never accepted.
It’s concerning that you threaten me with more court rooms, your intention to spend Public monies on attack disguised as defence for yourself, political and government crime. You want to use Public money against the Public.
If necessary, I will face the court room, practically using it to make you disclose, and looking forward to all of you being cross-examined towards, finally, transparency in major governance. It’s possible I may face a Judge who obeys the power of the DA instead of the Law but those court records will further expose you.
I’ve proven I’m willing to risk it all. How much are you willing to risk?
Help me understand your demand better so that I can better contemplate it.
Do you (and Bredell, Winde & Strydom) state, unequivocally, that you are unaware of the many issues I’ve presented you e.g.
The illegal ISDF tender and MEC Bredell’s perjuries in the Western Cape Legislature regarding it.
The illegal funding of Knysna Tourism and other Section 21 private tourism companies in the Western Cape with Public monies.
The mishandling of the Knysna Fire disaster and its donations, and the fraudulent government report into the fire’s cause that suspiciously exonerated those government employees involved, and allowed Knysna Fire Chief Clinton Manuel to return to the employ of the City of Cape Town.
The failure by the City of Cape Town to deal with the alleged racism incident involving a fireman, a friend of Manuels’, who was then given a job by a panel that Manuel was on, a promotion in Knysna.
The illegal appointment of Knysna Director Community Affairs Dawie Adonis and his alleged involvement in graft.
The illegal contracting of Fran Kirsten, ex-Mayor Eleanore Spies friend, as Communications Manager for Knysna Municipality.
The illegal use of Public funds to pay a private law firm the personal legal fees of ex-Mayor Spies and Speaker Georlene Wolmarans, and the consequent 6-month refusal by Municipal Manager Kam Chetty to hand a report on it to the Council.
The alleged graft by Rowan Spies, partner of ex-Mayor Spies, which was known by you before he became a DA Eden District councillor.
The propaganda campaign against me.
The threats against me.
The list goes on… and in suspicious, recent development, a ringleader in the DA’s attempts to silence me via the court room, who is a family member of an ex-DA councillor, has been given a job in the Knysna Municipality. Recently, under my appeal to President Cyril Ramaphosa on Facebook, this same person stated that I will be jailed just to play safe. Yes, DA criminals will do anything to ensure their freedom from prosecution.
Note that if anything happens to me, even one appearance in Court because another DA-linked person took me there, I’ll use my body as protest with your name mentioned everyday. I’ll not go down without a fight!
Your use of Public funds to send me a legal threat is akin to what the ex-Mayor and Speaker did. This demand by you, by the Western Cape Government, is on behalf of DA corruption.
But I asked you a question which had another option.:
You can acknowledge that I’ve reported serious matters to you, then explaining how you all effectively communicated with me and relevant government departments.
No matter what happens with me, no matter if you wish to hound me into poverty and jail, please reassure me you will deal with the crime I’ve reported to you that doesn’t involve you directly.
Before, or if, we go to Court, if you wish to stop 7 years of financial loss to the Public, I OFFER YOU A MEETING. This is genuine, as it always has been, even if I’m aware that a Court must hold that in my favour.
The meeting will be on record for the Public’s sake and because you claim to be transparent and accountable.
You can come as Zille the Premier but it would be best if you came more honestly as the DA, bringing along your Leader Mmusi Maimane, either for his assistance in this DA crisis, or because you are rumoured to be on the way out whilst he remains in. Let’s ensure continuity in our corruption fighting.
I’ll choose the venue. You can choose any date in the next 21 calendar days. As there is much to be discussed, it would be best to set aside a full day. I’ll gladly assist you in preparation, via email, so that the meeting is offered the best chance of success.
If you are unwilling to be pro-active, then that would suggest that you have something to hide and that your letter of demand for my silence is in defence of corruption and participation therein.
Note that I use a capital ‘P’ in the word ‘Public’. It’s reminder that the Public comes first. I hope that you eventually share my belief.
C’mon Helen Zille, come over to the light side.
In anticipation of productivity, defence of the Public and the fight against crime, and the mitigation of your actions therein, yours towards human discussion and freedom from oppression,
(View Helen’s response here)
