Oakhill Waterfront Chukka Festival 2012
Oakhill, a private school in Knysna, have recently begun playing Water Polo in the Knysna Waterfront, making it the only “Open Water” polo pool in Africa.
On the weekend of the 10th to 12th of February 2012 they will be hosting a Water Polo festival in the Knysna Waterfront. This will be an event like non other, making it exciting for all teams attending.
Playing in the Waterfront will most definitely create an atmosphere conducive to fast paced, good quality Water Polo, as well as give the spectators a chance to have some fun in the sun, with all amenities close by.
Teams from Cape Town, PE and the Garden Route have quickly filled up the vacant spots, and we expect this annual tournament to grow tremendously in size in the coming years.
Oakhill School have employed Motion Pixel to film the event, and the footage will be send to Super Sport and possibly SABC 2. Knysna has shown great support for this event, and many businesses have given prizes and discounts for the players and coaches.
This is an event not to be missed! Come and be part of a unique tournament, with lots of action in the only Open Water pool in Africa.
