  1. Yet again, the only ones to benefit from all this were the lawyers. The best part of this is that Plett can finally move forward toward an appropriate beachfront development, based on local input.
    The irony here is that the money paid to these ‘top lawyers’ (that in hindsight was probably not even necessary) could have gone a long way in workshopping among all Bitou communities toward the best solution, and even paying locals to do some studies and surveys as a basis for moving forward.

    • Money is usually, tragically, spent in all the wrong places. It would be nice to see a small waterfront but one that matched the beauty of the area, maybe wooden decks and wooden shops. A small stage for summer etc.
