Donald Trump has left the White House but Qanon remains
As Trump left office, powered by pardons for criminals, the immortal words of his supporter, Marjorie Taylor Greene, became ironically appropriate:
“There’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take this global cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles out, and I think we have the president to do it.”
Trump gone from office but Greene, a Qanon believer, has been elected to Congress. It’s expected that she too will bring shame to the Republican Party and the USA. It’s a country that has earned it.
Trump, more fervent than a wannabe teen on Instagram, will do anything for a few lights to remain shining on him. Additionally, he will stoke trouble to try to mask the guns aimed at him for fraud. Steve Bannon, the immorally pardoned criminal, will assist him whilst hero Julian Assange remains imprisoned.
This is Power. This is Democracy. This is America.
There are good people everywhere, but there must be a consequence to the greater nation drinking too much sugar and eating too much oily starch whilst half-watching too much TV whilst half-commenting on social media whilst their country is at war, supported by corporate mercenaries, in places they cannot point out on a map.
There’ll also be a consequence for too many lazy South Africans living vicariously through imaginary overseas friends waving Confederate flags. Those who truly care get educated. They listen to views from all sides. They volunteer their time to charities and local council meetings. They stand against corruption, discrimination, fake democracy and real conspiracies affecting their lives. They make a difference by being active… especially at home.
