Public Comment #2: DA vs Mike Hampton

Public comment 2 DA vs Mike Hampton

Trolls are nasty and cheap with facts. Solid comments are rare but there have been a lot more lately. I sometimes don’t know who the commentator is, things getting written farther afield than my pages. Cldntgiveash1t is obviously an anonymous profile but I share because its profile has recorded thousands of comments, sufficient for me to believe there’s real intent that belies the terrific profile name. This was posted on the Knysna-Plett Herald’s page. They’re the newspaper with a coveted spot in the DA’s arsehole. They wouldn’t allow me right … Read the full article…

My victory or death, video message to Ramaphosa, the DA & YOU

Mike Hampton - Victory or death message to President Cyril Ramaphosa

I may sound dramatic in this video but I’m being honest. This strongly feels like the endgame for me. I want it to be that. I want the past 9 years to be over, rather as a winner but, if necessary, as statement. VICTORY OR DEATH Given the money, I’d extend my life as long as I can – whoosh, I’d be in another country writing the second ‘Same Shit, Different Government’ book, and giving our Government more time to correspond with me and meaningfully investigate the corruption I’ve exposed. … Read the full article…

DA Doesn’t Want Accountability for Knysna Fire

Mike Hampton Posted on 22nd Aug 2017 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

Afriforum’s Knysna Fire report shed light where, ironically, there’d only been dark. The investigation gave foundation to rumours and other media articles that addressed municipal incompetence as a reason for the disaster i.e. the Sedgefield branch of the Knysna Fire Department failed, for two months, to act on complaints by residents of a large smoulder in Elandskraal. When the wind arrived, the smoulder combusted into destruction that destroyed Knysna houses, businesses and lives. The tragedy seems to have had little effect on Knysna DA Councillor Dr. Martin Young who has … Read the full article…

Make Politicians Accountable, Every Single One of Them

Mike Hampton Posted on 29th Jun 2017 by Mike Hampton1st Nov 2020

I’m in Court again, this morning. I look forward to the day our government will be forced to allow me to speak openly. “In the post-political universe in which we live, much of humanity has been reduced to serve the interests of big money and oligarchy. Left and Right have become indistinguishable and meaningless. The freedom to think openly is now only within the domain of nostalgia. Our Western Liberal ‘utopia’ has turned into an Orwellian catastrophe, and we the people, have been left bewildered and impoverished. We need a … Read the full article…

Think BIG South Africa!

Mike Hampton Posted on 22nd Jan 2017 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

WHERE WILL SOUTH AFRICA BE IF EUROPE SIDES WITH CHINA AGAINST THE U.S.A.? China is investing $503-billion (R7-trillion) into its national railway systems over 5 years. It’s looking outside too, far more ambitiously. This month, London became the 15th European city with direct trains from China, an ambitious project accomplished in only 4 years. The freight train to London covers 12,000 kilometers in 18 days. Surely it’s only a matter of time before passengers service is opened, an exhilarating journey across Europe, Russia and Asia – possibly the world’s greatest … Read the full article…

Truth Must Win!

Mike Hampton Posted on 11th May 2015 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

333 emails still in my Inbox despite working very hard today to try catch up. Feeling very tired. No, that’s not a sign of giving up. Truth must win! I must win! Knysna must win! Politicians must lose!!! Will get my head together though i fear that the only way to exist, let alone get ahead, is to delete some intentions and mails with requests 🙁 I can’t be much on FB and my blogs much this week. Have too much work to do for the continuous court cases laid … Read the full article…
