Celebration of Funds Raised During 2015 Slow Festival

In celebration of the funds raised during the 2015 Slow Festival, Gary and Rene Atkinson of La Piazza hosted the Slow Fest Charity handover and Afterparty on Friday 1st May. Results: Goukamma Traverse and Family Fun Trail Run

Perfect running weather greeted 155 trail runners on Saturday 4th April at the start of the Spar Goukamma Traverse and Family Fun Trail Run, a race that forms part of the annual Slow Festival event programme. 70 runners on the Traverse crossed over the Goukamma River on a pontoon to the start line. Slow Festival 2014 Raised R35000 for Charity

As a fitting culmination to the 2014 Sedgefield Slow Festival, the Slow Fest committee handed over the collective monies raised to the four chosen charities at an afterparty that was held at La Piazza on Saturday 17 May.
