The dirty tricks of the Developer’s Alliance (DA) in Oudtshoorn is drawing condemnation across the Western Cape. STATEMENT OF THE ANC WESTERN CAPE INTERIM PROVINCIAL COMMITTEE – 17 JUNE 2020 The Interim Provincial Committee (IPC) of the African National Congress in the Western Cape held its ordinary plenary session on Sunday 13 June 2020, virtually. Ideology, idiocracy, politicians, you and me

Mike Hampton Posted on 3rd Nov 2019 by mikehampton8th Jan 2020

Today, I blame Syria for making me vomit ideology, media, politicians and the common human. All the wrongdoings of Syria’s leader Bashar al-Assad don’t make him part of this metaphor. Instead, that’s reserved for Russia and the USA… from my South African view. Note that my mind is constantly at war with ideas. When some battles last too long, distracting me from what I should be doing most, I diarise them. They’re my unedited moment, forgotten or later disinterred for reflection. This blog is one of those moments. HYPOCRITICAL MISSILES … Read the full article…

ANC’s Baleka Mbete betrayed South Africa, disgraced herself

Mike Hampton Posted on 3rd Nov 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
Baleka Mbete interviewed by Aljazeera

According to Baleka Mbete, the ANC doesn’t have to accept responsibility for South Africa having one of the worst murder rates in the world because colonialists brought crime. This woman was previously Deputy President. As Speaker of Parliament, she was paid an annual salary of R2.7-million to protect us – instead, it feels as if she robbed us. It’s an important interview symbolically demonstrating the callousness of politics. Her many terrible responses to questions from Al Jazeera vivdly painted our Government’s indifference to us citizens. Imagine Jacob Zuma’s horrendous laugh … Read the full article…

ANC officially takes over Knysna

Mike Hampton Posted on 29th Oct 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
ANC Knysna takeover 2019

The DA’s constant factionalism and corruption has allowed the ANC to take over Knysna. Yesterday, ANC Deputy Mayor Aubrey Tsengwa appointed an ANC Mayoral Committee (MAYCO). Speaker Titi Gombo responded to critics with: “We, as the ANC, once governed this town. We had a good history. We’ve got interest of our beautiful town. Our main goal is to serve the people of Knysna. Most of us in the ANC council are born in Knysna. This is our home. If you see only negative things in people, you will never see the … Read the full article…

The Easy Guide to Democratic Alliance corruption & intimidation

Mike Hampton Posted on 25th Jul 2019 by mikehampton24th Jan 2021

DRAFT COPY “You may choose to look the other way, but you can never say that you did not know.” – William Wilberforce Free in the Public Interest. Download the first book about Democratic Alliance corruption: I’m Mike Hampton, am an anti-corruption activist. This document summarises my fight against the crimes of the Democratic Alliance (DA). The DA is too powerful. I have failed to get justice since 2010. I have long expected to be silenced. Although I’ve defied the odds, I expect my time has run out, and that … Read the full article…

South Africa: 2019 National Election Results

Mike Hampton Posted on 11th May 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
South Africa 2019 General Election Results.png

South Africa’s fifth national elections since apartheid were held on 8 May 2019. The ANC won and the DA remained the official opposition party. Unchanged in words and position but not not in status quo. The Public expressed their dissatisfaction with their scandals by voting less than before. Others increased the share of the EFF, IFP, VF+ and ACDP. The UDM, AIC, COPE and NFP declined but each clung to two Parliamentary seats. New kids in the arena, GOOD and ATM, picked two seats too. The PAC and Al Jama-ah … Read the full article…

Election 2019 results: The DA nightmare

Mike Hampton Posted on 10th May 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

The Democratic Alliance (DA) is the best… at spinning negative news into something positive… but I’m not letting them get away with it. DA NIGHTMARE This is the DA’s first drop in 25 years. They’ll be licking their national wounds and contemplating the 4% dip in their stronghold, the Western Cape. Nationally, the DA received less votes than in 2014, transferring a bunch of them to the Vryheidsfront Plus (VF+) that decided that ignoring equality wasn’t worth an attempt at more votes. And the DA’s Cape Town sins made some … Read the full article…

Video: Elections 2019 – Ramaphoria, Vryheidsfront victory, DA failure & 7de Laan

Mike Hampton Posted on 10th May 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

The Vryheidsfront Plus (VF+) has gained where the DA failed. They’ve been rewarded for not flip-flopping on minority rights, and topics such as BEE and expropriation of land without compensation. The DA has failed to secure Gauteng or the Northern Cape, even losing voters in its Western Cape stronghold. In the bigger picture, will ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa hold his party and South Africa together? And will we, everyday South Africans, play our part by fixing our neighbourhoods, an everyday vote for ourselves that we can achieve without ink on … Read the full article…
