Corruption at the Knysna Vehicle Testing Station?

Over 7 months ago, I queried the Knysna Municipality with regards the closing down of the Knysna Vehicle Testing Station. It was a drastic measure which strongly implied that there was corruption. As usual, our not-for-the-people municipality was unhelpful. Municipal Manager Lauren Waring’s press release lied when it told us to contact John Jaftha, the Acting Director of Community Services,  for more information. Municipal Vehicle Testing Centre Closed

The Knysna Municipality today (19 February 2013) temporarily closed its vehicle testing station to review and upgrade its systems.
