The ANC objected to Knysna Municipality’s intention to sell land in the rich suburb of Lake Brenton in Knysna for only R27 per m² (total value R30 000). The Mayoral Committee meeting of February 19 2015 had tabled a portion of municipal land to be sold to adjacent owners Brenton Woods and Brenton Park.
