My heart’s farewell to Swakopmund in Namibia was a short hike across the rocks and dry riverbed, and into the dunes of the Namib Desert. Weak from a two-week chest infection, it was a bit challenging but well worth it. Although I occasionally saw distant 4x4s and hikers atop distant dunes, I was alone for a long time until the wind found me for company. I walked into the Namib Desert yesterday. I made two videos. I’ll share the important message on a later date. This one’s chilled because camels are more interested in eating bushes than politics… and desert sand lasts longer than governments…
