President Ramaphosa, come clean about CoViD-19

Mike Hampton Posted on 21st Apr 2020 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
covid-19

I fear CoViD-19 is being mishandled in South Africa, the statistics understated and the lockdown wasted. Scarily, victims in KZN will not be allowed to self-isolate – the Government will take them away to a mass quarantine facility. As the province with the most dead, there’s suspiciously a lack of news after outbreaks. The KZN Health Department has radically decided to stop naming infected hospitals, which removes the Constitutional rights of patients to choose the hospital safest for them. It doesn’t seem coincidental that this new approach happened after a … Read the full article…

I came out of hiding to testify in the Victor Molosi murder trial

Mike Hampton Posted on 10th Nov 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

I was asked to testify in the trial involving the assassination of Knysna ANC Chief Whip Victor Molosi. It was a quick but hard decision as I’ve enemies too. REQUESTS TO TESTIFY I live with worry, hopelessly trying to get President Cyril Ramaphosa and others to act on my evidence of DA corruption. This week, DA MP Mat Cuthbert banned me on Facebook because I asked him for help i.e. DA corruption is protected, especially in Knysna where my activism began. Political factions shift across parties and organisations, confusing the … Read the full article…

Adv. Tseliso Thipanyane, is the SAHRC guardian or criminal?

Mike Hampton Posted on 10th Sep 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
Advocate Tseliso Thipanyane Human Rights Commission Democratic Alliance corruption question

Tseliso Thipanyane, why has the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) failed to assist and protect me against Democratic Alliance corruption? Doesn’t it matter that the corruption I’ve reported affects tens of thousands of people? Is the SAHRC guardian or criminal? Your staff recommended that I not hand myself into the police (because the police hunting me were illegally doing so). That was acknowledgement that I face bad cops. Yet the SAHRC has failed to act in this and many associated matters, and won’t explain questions hanging over the conduct … Read the full article…

Cold Case Apartheid or Cold Case Hammarskjöld?

Mike Hampton Posted on 25th Aug 2019 by mikehampton25th Aug 2019

‘Cold Case Hammarskjöld’ is unlike any documentary I’ve seen. It’s occasional deadpan humour in the first half flies in plane-crashing contrast to the chills, sadness and anger that eventually imploded me. Did South Africa, with assistance from MI5, the domestic intelligence branch of the British Government, attempt to infect Africans with HIV via fake vaccinations? That question grows as investigator Göran Bjorkdahl and documentarian Mads Brugger seek to discover who assassinated United Nations Secretary General Hammarskjold in 1961. THE ASSASSINATION United Nations (UN) Secretary General Dag Hammarskjöld made a mistake. … Read the full article…

South Africa: Politicians’ Popularity Poll 2019

Mike Hampton Posted on 24th Aug 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
South Africa politicians popularity survey July 2019

President Cyril Ramaphosa has defied his growing critics to retain his popularity. Confidence in his scandal-to-scandal Government has plummeted yet, man alone, he has triumphed. POLITICIANS POPULARITY POLL RESULTS According to the long-running company Citizens Survey, through their July 2019 poll, Ramaphosa has remained popular despite his biggest allies taking blows. Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni dropped 6% since last year. Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan dropped 5%. Possibly balancing those negativities is that Ramaphosa’s internal enemy, ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule, dropped from 16 to 11%. Magashule is the … Read the full article…
