Warning: South Africa’s disaster (and COGTA’s top secret plan)

Mike Hampton Posted on 8th Jul 2020 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

Remember COGTA’S ‘Top Secret document’ that the DA revealed this week? The DA claimed that the ANC were going to destroy our democracy with a “power grab”. It’s an important read but the DA’s abuse of it smells of swart gevaar tactics, and denies our current economic and health crisis. OUR SOUTH AFRICAN DISASTER The biggest impression I gained as I skim-read that 45-page document is that our National Government was rightfully scared almost 3 months ago. That’s how old the document is, something the DA forgot to tell us … Read the full article…

Coronavirus AMPLIFIED: Intro – Seeking Truth in Disaster

Mike Hampton Posted on 11th Apr 2020 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

100,000 killed by covid-19. How to react or make sense of it when our coronavirus dead expect our company? From South Africa, this is a global view of possible cures, conspiracies and more… INTRO: OUR 100,000 DEAD EXPECT OUR COMPANY It’s 11 April 2020. Today marks more than 100,000 of us killed by COVID-19, the disease caused by the latest coronavirus. It’s probable that the 1.7-million known cases are exponential. Several researchers are estimating 10-million infections. It’s likely that many of the dead have been disregarded by mistake or nefarious … Read the full article…

This economic crash is gonna hurt more

Mike Hampton Posted on 7th Feb 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
Economic crash, the next global financial crisis

Another economic crash is coming. I’m worried it’ll happen within a few years. Hell, I’m worried that it’ll happen tomorrow during lunch break. No matter when it occurs, it’ll be terrible, unlike any suicide we’ve experienced before. Have no doubt that it’ll be our fault. A lesson not learned is pain we owe ourselves. GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS (GFC) In 2007/2008, I couldn’t persuade my father to alter his retirement funds, or get a friend to trade several mortgages for owning one property outright. I get it. Why believe me? I’m … Read the full article…

Saluting You (The Small Business Owner)

brave small business owners south africa

Electricity surges like only electricity can Rates make a date with government like only government can The politicians fight in a way that makes no difference to my brother’s drug addiction, my daughter’s primary school fees, my matriculating son’s future or my stressed spouse’s opinion of me Yet I open the doors to my business everyday… plotting revised adverts and word of mouth specials to locals in the same position as me whilst wondering which staff member I will have to let go next, maybe someone in worse position than … Read the full article…

Documentary: The Four Horsemen

Mike Hampton Posted on 13th Dec 2017 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

FOUR HORSEMEN is free from mainstream media propaganda — the film doesn’t bash bankers, criticise politicians or get involved in conspiracy theories. It ignites the debate about how to usher a new economic paradigm into the world which would dramatically improve the quality of life for billions. “It’s Inside Job with bells on, and a frequently compelling thesis thanks to Ashcroft’s crack team of talking heads — economists, whistleblowers and Noam Chomsky, all talking with candour and clarity.” – Total Film

Our Economy’s Sadness & Madness

Mike Hampton Posted on 17th Dec 2014 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

South Africa’s growth has dropped to 1.4%, far off any target that could make a difference to unemployment and poverty. Inflation is at 5.8% (which is a nonsense low as any shopper knows) and our government is considering giving public servants a 6.8% increase whilst unions are demanding as much as 15%. If our growth is only 1.4%, surely that means that anything more than that makes our economy sink further?
