In a world that were fair and in a democracy that truly represented us, The People, Georlene Wolmarans would not have become the DA Mayor of Knysna. This is the merry-go-round I’ve been forced to ‘play’ on for 2 years, 8 months, 2 weeks and 5 days – I’ve been denied access to information that should have been public. The press statement begins with: “The Eden District Municipality took the lead in fighting corruption by launching an Eden anti-fraud and anti-corruption hotline.” [Knysna and Plett fall under Eden District]. With history in mind, that would appear to be a joke.
