Breaking News: MEC Bredell’s corruption letter to Knysna Speaker Titi Gombo

Mike Hampton Posted on 6th Jul 2020 by mikehampton7th Jul 2020
Anton Bredell corruption letter to Titi Gombo Knysna

This corruption letter will slap more than Knysna to attention. Desperate to hang onto power, the leadership of the Democratic Alliance has been leopard crawling through the fynbos and ostrich droppings in our Garden Route towns. There are forces afoot, so this letter cannot be considered an honest step towards accountability by the Western Cape Government (WC). But it is interesting. WHAT’S IN THE LETTER? The letter was sent by MEC Local Government Anton Bredell to Knysna Speaker Titi Gombo (ANC). The many corruption and maladministration issues within appear to … Read the full article…

The 3 Stages of Municipal Corruption (South Africa)

3 Stages of Municipal Corruption - Knysna South Africa

The 3 Stages of Municipal Corruption (A Guide for Politicians and Municipal Managers): 1. We cover-up our corruption through denial, omission and propaganda. 2. We only admit there’s a problem after it explodes. Then reassure the Public that we’re in control and fixing it (but be careful not to provide timelines or take direct responsibility). 3. Pretend problem fixed by redeploying as few friends as possible. Use own crisis to make Public fearful. Then sell Public land and take new loans to fill hole. The Public are stupid and lazy … Read the full article…

Mayor Ricky and Manager Louis, your cover-up of corruption is rejected

Mike Hampton Posted on 24th Jun 2020 by mikehampton24th Jun 2020

Mayor Elrick van Aswegen and Acting Municipal Manager Dr Louis Scheepers, your cover-up of corruption is rejected. COVER-UP REJECTED I approached you with good intention to help Knysna. You responded with ambush. What you did to me in our telephone conference yesterday was unacceptably unproductive. You deliberately ensured that not one topic could be discussed. That you did it whilst pretending to be reasonable and claiming to be helpful makes you chameleon sharks. You cannot be trusted. Consequently, I’m going to acknowledge what you are and be necessarily direct. If … Read the full article…

Video: I’m South Africa’s first anti-corruption Mayor, I’m Mike Hampton

Mike Hampton Posted on 22nd Jun 2020 by mikehampton22nd Jun 2020

I’m South Africa’s first anti-corruption Mayor, I’m Mike Hampton. Please wait a few seconds for this short anti-corruption video to load… I’m the new Mayor of Knysna. I’m initiating a zero-tolerance, anti-corruption policy. If you’re suspected of stealing R100, you’re suspended. If you’re found guilty, we will claim legal fees. If you steal millions, we’ll take your house. You will not get another cushy job in another DA municipality in the Western Cape. You will not be promoted to Parliament. You will go to jail! This is my inaugural address. … Read the full article…

The Final Climb – My 100 days against Democratic Alliance corruption

Mike Hampton - 100 days activism vs Democratic Alliance corruption

If you’ve appreciated my exposure of Government corruption the past decade, please give me your attention and help the next 100 days.

I will keep appealing to National Government for help but, if that fails, I’ll contact my DA and property developer enemies and suggest how they can have the best shot at jailing me for the 6 contempts of courts I have against me because I exposed their corruption and believe that the Public Interest matters.

Our country is corrupt. The Western Cape is just part of that broken system where politicians are protected at our expense. I’ve tried my best to get justice and will continue to do so, documenting what I do these 100 days. If you count 101 it’s because I want the 30th of September to be my day off 🙂

I’m down to my last R1,000 with no future income. I know it’s tough times but if you’re fortunate to have R50 or anything spare, for printing and to help me advertise my most important posts, please find my bank details at https://wp.me/P9Of25-1YD
