The Knysna Municipality has paid 3 penalties totaling R67 661. A dispute between two contractors, for infrastructure in the northern suburbs, had Knysna Municipality siding with Sintec Consulting Engineers against RobCon Civils. This led to the Knysna Municipality withholding paying to RobCon who took them to the Adjudication Board which found in favour of RobCon and decided that they must be paid R16 231 interest on the amounts withheld.
