This interview with Helen Zille will become infamous. It’s the first time I’m aware of liberal media confronting her (or the Democratic Alliance).
As the recently elected DA Federal Council Chairperson (DA FedEx Chair), Zille ducked and dived on Cape Talk Radio. She insisted that she represents “change”. Talk show host Eusebius McKaiser disagreed, telling her she’s “more of the same.”
Zille said she’s begun her own company, the Godzille Media Group. She became antagonistic when asked for her opinion on DA Leader Mmusi Maimane. She labeled JHB Mayor Herman Mashaba (who announced his resignation from the DA yesterday) as a “free market fundamentalist”. Hear her answer to “Why are you such a common denominator in black people leaving the party?”
Note that I consider McKaiser to be a Mashaba supporter.
