Zille and Ramaphosa are liars, but so are we!

Mike Hampton Posted on 26th Jan 2021 by mikehampton26th Jan 2021

We’re broken and South Africa is our reflection. Liberalism and communism are dead except as flags waving for no one and politicians. Democracy has become a society of cannibals trying not to be eaten. We are a bankrupt nation, morally and financially. It’s painfully clear that the Democratic Alliance can practice corruption with impunity and that President Cyril Ramaphosa lied to us about fighting crime. Our country remains captured, from top to bottom. But we cannot blame people such as Zille and Ramaphosa alone because we, as a society of … Read the full article…

3000 downloads, the book the liberal DA failed to silence

Mike Hampton Posted on 24th Jan 2021 by mikehampton25th Jan 2021

If South Africa’s Democratic Alliance (DA) is liberal, then liberalism is corruption… or will Liberal International and the Africa Liberal Network act against the crimes of the DA and its boss, Helen Zille? I’m Mike Hampton, an anti-corruption activist who authored, ‘Same Shit, Different Government’ (SSDG). It was released on 28 March 2019 and recently surpassed 3,000 downloads. It’s the first book about crime and maladministration involving the Democratic Alliance (DA). It has entrenched me as the target of their unscrupulous politicians and allies. They aim to imprison me and … Read the full article…

Adv. Tseliso Thipanyane, is the SAHRC guardian or criminal?

Mike Hampton Posted on 10th Sep 2019 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
Advocate Tseliso Thipanyane Human Rights Commission Democratic Alliance corruption question

Tseliso Thipanyane, why has the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) failed to assist and protect me against Democratic Alliance corruption? Doesn’t it matter that the corruption I’ve reported affects tens of thousands of people? Is the SAHRC guardian or criminal? Your staff recommended that I not hand myself into the police (because the police hunting me were illegally doing so). That was acknowledgement that I face bad cops. Yet the SAHRC has failed to act in this and many associated matters, and won’t explain questions hanging over the conduct … Read the full article…

Abortion, right or wrong? Not a question for radicals

Mike Hampton Posted on 10th Aug 2019 by mikehampton10th Aug 2019
abortion right wrong human foetus 5 months old

Is abortion right or wrong? Or, more precisely, at what stages of fetal development is it ok to decide to not want to be a parent anymore? These questions aren’t for those of radical opinion. I define “radical” as those who believe women’s rights are absolute, or that religion is fact (and that their belief chooses who lives or dies for eternity). These questions obviously don’t apply to the many who don’t give a shit either way, or make uneducated, offhanded remarks to pretend they’re human. The life of a … Read the full article…

Free yourself from the slavery of Facebook bigotry

Mike Hampton Posted on 24th Sep 2018 by mikehampton11th Mar 2019
bigots homophobia facebook ban human rights

If I’d continued living in that stifling box that most call life, I’d have killed myself. I don’t know how others tolerate it, wanting to be a product, never discovering themselves. I know that most will never change because going with the flow is an addictive stress. To those on the fence, where the hope for hope waits, I ask you this: Don’t let your flawed parents, teachers or religions confine you. Don’t confine yourself. Shed all that you’ve been taught and start again as a shitting baby in a … Read the full article…

Calls to use live ammo on Plett protestors

Mike Hampton Posted on 13th Jun 2018 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020
live ammo Plettenberg Bay protestors

“USE LIVE AMMO” is one of the nasty comments in response to yesterday’s protest in Plettenberg Bay – www.facebook.com/KnysnaPlettHerald/posts/1831789653579650. It horribly reminds me how the ex-head of the Knysna Ratepayers Association once also called for live ammo to be used and had one of his friends back him up by suggesting that the same bulldozers used on Palestinians should be brought in. Both were DA members, removed but with the DA failing to appropriately address the issue, seemingly more interested in their image than substance. Unfortunately, the NP’s presence will … Read the full article…

Who in Knysna Thinks Human Rights is Inconvenient?

Mike Hampton Posted on 2nd Jul 2017 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

I’m tired of repeating myself so post this thought about Knysna Fire donations and human rights so that i can copy and paste the link next time someone needs similar response on Facebook. I refuse to take the easy route and i don’t believe that anyone should during our great challenge. There’s good and bad in the aftermath of our Great Knysna Fire, there cannot only be good for the sake of convenience. There are people doing amazingly good deeds and i have given kudos to several. How could i … Read the full article…
