E.Coli Readings Still Too High in Knysna
There was again worry in the Knysna Council when James McCarthy, from the Eden District Health Department, presented the Environmental Health Report for Knysna. Bacterial samples taken in and around the Knysna Estuary found two areas non-compliant. Non-compliance means being more than 500 E.Coli per 100ml. Ashmead was at 1400. Bongani was a shocking 4100. X E.Coli was disturbingly found in standpipes in Damsebos and Nekkies. That situation has been sorted.
