Magical Determination…and Happiness

Piet Terblanche, who taught at Knysna Primary School, for 36 years, sent these photos to Oakhill. His goal was to share the utter joy and determination on the faces of all attending the Grade R inter-schools athletics competition at Little Elephants Pre-Primary School; from parents to pupils, bystanders to participants. His other purpose was to congratulate the dedication of Oakhill teacher, Stef Weyers, who is pushing smiley pupil, Olothando Songqqengqe. Oakhill Waterfront Chukka Festival 2012

Oakhill, a private school in Knysna, have recently begun playing Water Polo in the Knysna Waterfront, making it the only “Open Water” polo pool in Africa. On the weekend of the 10th to 12th of February 2012 they will be hosting a Water Polo festival in the Knysna Waterfront. This will be an event like non other, making it exciting for all teams attending.
