October 3: Loeriehof Fête, Knysna

Feel good about yourself whilst treating yourself! The annual Loeriehof Old Age Home Fête will happen from 8am this Saturday, October 3rd, at Kruiskerk, Knysna’s NG Kerk in Fichat Street (behind the Knysna Library). You will get lots of cakes, desserts, biltong, a variety of breakfasts, pot plants, books and much more at great prices. It’s a perfect occasion for the family and conversation with friendly stallholders PLUS you will be supporting an excellent cause, Loeriehof Old Age Home which supports 80 of Knysna’s elderly.

Fantastic Féte at Knysna’s NG Kerk

Afrikaners do it better:) Ever in search of an amazing book bargain at fétes, i can happily state that one of the best i’ve attended was this past Saturday at Kruiskerk, Knysna’s NG Kerk in Fichat Street. Ironically, the book stall was one of the smallest i’ve seen and, according to others i spoke to, much smaller than last year’s. Nevertheless, i grabbed a huge smile with my purchase of The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (R3) and the dvds of the Long Way Down television series (R10!).
