Breaking News: MEC Bredell’s corruption letter to Knysna Speaker Titi Gombo

Mike Hampton Posted on 6th Jul 2020 by mikehampton7th Jul 2020
Anton Bredell corruption letter to Titi Gombo Knysna

This corruption letter will slap more than Knysna to attention. Desperate to hang onto power, the leadership of the Democratic Alliance has been leopard crawling through the fynbos and ostrich droppings in our Garden Route towns. There are forces afoot, so this letter cannot be considered an honest step towards accountability by the Western Cape Government (WC). But it is interesting. WHAT’S IN THE LETTER? The letter was sent by MEC Local Government Anton Bredell to Knysna Speaker Titi Gombo (ANC). The many corruption and maladministration issues within appear to … Read the full article…

Mbulelo Memani must go

Municipal Manager Louis Scheepers and Mayor Elrick van Aswegen. You haven’t responded to my questions and evidence regarding corruption and maladministration. Consequently, I’ll squish these new BIG ISSUES into bullet points that the Public can also quickly understand. These are further reasons for you to consider my demand that CFO Mbulelo Memani must go! Were we robbed of the emergency fire donation money? If not, provide an accounting for the past 3 years, and a bank balance statement for today, 15 June 2020. Explain why the money wasn’t used on … Read the full article…

Major Update: Knysna, Parliament & Public Protector

Mike Hampton Posted on 14th Sep 2017 by mikehampton5th Jan 2021

The Western Cape Office of the Public Protector and Knysna Magistrates’ Court seems to have no intention of protecting me or the citizens of Knysna. Additionally, there’s been no response from Helen Zille and the DA Federal Executive regarding the threats against myself and “200” subscribers by their Councillor Dr Martin Young. There’s been no response from the Knysna Municipality regarding the threats by Fire Chief Clinton Manuel. DA FIGHTING EACH OTHER Internally, there’s a major battle between Mayor Eleanore Spies and her ex-buddy Deputy Mayor Peter Myers. It’s resulted … Read the full article…

The Rotten Heart of Knysna in Council Today

Mike Hampton Posted on 20th Jun 2017 by mikehampton9th Jan 2021

Attention Knysna Councillors! Will you, in the Special Council Meeting today, serve the Public or further legitimise the rotten heart of the Knysna Municipality? Acting Municipal Manager Johnny Douglas requests you ignore that Manon McDonald, ex-Manager Electrical Department, was involved in the process that granted R1.3-million in tenders to Jam Electrical, a company whose only member is her husband. Absurdly, Douglas accepts the investigation team’s advice that the related disciplinary hearing against previous Municipal Manager Grant Easton suffices as sufficient warning to staff to obey tender regulations. Easton quit, unpunished. … Read the full article…

Knysna Mayor Liar Spies, Stop Hiding!

Mike Hampton Posted on 27th May 2017 by mikehampton11th Jan 2021

STOP HIDING, KNYSNA MAYOR ELEANORE SPIES! The response to a witness and me reporting the Democratic Alliance to Parliament for corruption has been another propaganda campaign. It’s unfortunate but must be embraced as further evidence that will result in greater punishment of the crooked who’ve chosen to serve themselves instead of Knysna. NONSENSE On her Facebook page, Mayor Eleanore Spies stated: “There is something very wrong when two people who have no mandate from the Greater Knysna residents nor the local newspaper go to Parliament and state fiction as fact.” … Read the full article…

May 24: Love Knysna Petition Ruling Scheduled

Mike Hampton Posted on 3rd May 2017 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

The ruling on the Love Knysna Petition is scheduled for May 24 2017. That’ll be delivered by Parliament’s Committee on Petitions & Executive Undertakings. If you’re a new reader, not knowing what this is about, view the initial ‘Trouble in Knysna’ submission. That’s grown in size. There’s been a lot more information supplied by me the past year but owing to all the court actions against me, which i strongly believe is an attempt to shut me up and intimidate me, you’ll just have to wait until the Committee makes … Read the full article…
