A poor start to the day became a wonderful morning anyway. Terry Quirk, from the Knysna Knights Chess Club, and i were to give another chess lesson in Khayalethu but none of the kids turned up – apparently there’d been a festival in Plettenberg Bay the day before and the kids had chosen to sleep over.
