A wonderful thing happened this week. I made an appeal on Facebook for help in purchasing school shoes for twin teens in need. Strangely, sadly, no one responded. But then, coincidentally, someone who had owed me R200 for months, paid me. So off we went to PEP Stores (opposite Checkers), thinking that’d be the cheapest place to get them.
