DA Federal Legal Commission will “investigate” Helen Zille

Mike Hampton Posted on 30th Jun 2020 by mikehampton30th Jun 2020

The Democratic Alliance will investigate Federal Chair Helen Zille. This follows her controversial apartheid tweets. It’s ridiculous that Spokesperson Solly Malatsi is stating that the DA will “investigate”, and that he doesn’t know how long it’ll take – it’s a fucking tweet. Read it, read the complaints, compare that to Zille’s past behaviour, she responds, DA makes a decision – done in a week. What the hell is wrong with these people? Wait, don’t answer. That will take longer than a week! Of course, they’re still not investigating her for … Read the full article…

Zille tweets herself apart(heid)

Mike Hampton Posted on 24th Jun 2020 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

On Tuesday, 23 June, Helen Zille, Chair of the Democratic Council, and a leader of liberalism in Africa, gave credit to FW de Clerk for dismantling Apartheid, and discredited the ANC’s role. Although that could be open to debate, she experienced outrage when she stated that, “LOL [laugh out loud], there are more racist laws today than there were under apartheid.”  The division between whites and blacks in the DA was again highlighted when Mbali Ntuli, who is contesting for the party’s leadership position, responded to Zille’s critics with: “I … Read the full article…

Black Friday is racist

Black Friday racist stereotype protest - themikehampton dot com“Black Friday is racist for not allowing whites to shop. How would other races feel if they couldn’t do what they were good at? Imagine blacks without soccer, coloureds without gangs and brownies without curry.

Just kidding, our ‘White Monopoly Capital’ retailers will make a fortune selling goods at ‘discount’ prices. Please shop your non-red hearts out!”

Cold Case Apartheid or Cold Case Hammarskjöld?

Mike Hampton Posted on 25th Aug 2019 by mikehampton25th Aug 2019

‘Cold Case Hammarskjöld’ is unlike any documentary I’ve seen. It’s occasional deadpan humour in the first half flies in plane-crashing contrast to the chills, sadness and anger that eventually imploded me. Did South Africa, with assistance from MI5, the domestic intelligence branch of the British Government, attempt to infect Africans with HIV via fake vaccinations? That question grows as investigator Göran Bjorkdahl and documentarian Mads Brugger seek to discover who assassinated United Nations Secretary General Hammarskjold in 1961. THE ASSASSINATION United Nations (UN) Secretary General Dag Hammarskjöld made a mistake. … Read the full article…

Where He Will Leave His Shoes?

Where will he leave his shoes-Karen Jayes short story South Africa

‘Where He Will Leave His Shoes?’ is a South African short story observing conscious and unconscious racism and sensuality via the master/servant relationship. It won writer Karen Jayes the 2009 PEN/Studzinski Award and admiration from writers such as JM Coetzee. That inspired her first novel, the Sunday Times Literary Prize winning ‘The Mercy of Water’. So grab some hot coffee and get back into bed so that you fully appreciate this masterpiece. ‘My husband likes the sheets tucked in, so that when he gets into bed, it’s like slipping into … Read the full article…
