DA Federal Chairperson James Selfe has confirmed that Helen Zille has been charged for her tweets over colonialism. He said that the process could take months as Zille was a busy person and that she could appeal any possible decision against her. Terror Lekota Will Not Support South Africans Killing Each Other

VIDEO OF THE MONTH: Back in 1990, a handful of us students and a teacher met Terror Lekota in a secret meeting just after he got out of Robben Island. He was impressive. This speech of his in Parliament reminds me of the intelligent passion he showed us that day. Here he defends the Constitution whilst reprimanding Jacob Zuma and Julius Malema, reminding us of the Rwanda genocide and stating strongly that he cannot support the promotion of South Africans killing South Africans.

It was shocking to hear of a visitor to Knysna being involved in a scary incident of racism on Thesen Islands’ on December 11. It allegedly culminated in a white man running and pointing a gun towards a coloured man getting away in his car. The incident was apparently watched by many, by the staff and customers of Col’Cacchio’s Pizzeria, next to the kids’ playground. Last night, a white man, allegedly on drugs, pulled a gun in public outside a restaurant on Thesen Islands. In an alleged racist incident, he threateningly ran, arm and gun pointed towards a car driven by a coloured male who has holidayed in our town numerous times.
