Knysna Road Maintenance Plan for 2014/2015
The Knysna Municipality’s inefficient communications department, run by Christopher Bezuidenhout, has posted their first press release this month. It’s a follow-on, sanitised version to my previous road blog, ‘Oh, Lord, Please Help Me’. Roads: “Oh Lord, Please Help Me”
“Oh Lord, please help me,” said Councillor Richard Dawson when he saw the small amount of money allocated for road repairs and maintenance in Central Knysna for 2014/2015. As politician for what is designated Ward 10, his follow-on was a concern for only one road, Welbedacht Lane. The allocation of R423 700 is unlikely to cover the repair of just that road let alone the many in need outside it.
