The Knysna Municipality today (13 June 2013) opened Sedgefield’s first proper taxi rank. Situated on municipal ground behind the Sedgefield offices of the Knysna Municipality and the Post Office, between Tarentaal and Vink Streets, the rank provides 14 shaded parking bays and a washing bay for taxis. The space is next to the existing public toilets, on top of which the taxi operators will also be provided with a small office.
