Last night’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) in South Africa was as disruptive as expected. Earlier in the day, outside Parliament, supporters of President Jacob Zuma’s had ironically clashed with the police. Inside, it was a war of words that led to COPE and the EFF leaving the building but not before the latter had interrupted Zuma for 67-minutes. Elections are on their way, possibly heralding an eventual fight for South Africa’s #1 position.
