Knysna Municipality’s Tender Fraud Scandals for Xmas

Mike Hampton Posted on 29th Nov 2014 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

‘Stay Awake Lest the Knysna DA Destroy You’ was the sensational title of my blog 4 days ago. In it, i said, “Some allegiances are shifting right now, most just to save themselves, but there’s a chance that some of that wall they’ve built between us and them will break. There may even be some revelations before the year is out. I have some for you but others do too.” I got criticised for that, some people thinking that i was over dramatising, but the majority of my readers have … Read the full article…

Knysna Tourism versus Knysna’s Citizens – Will We Get Justice?

Mike Hampton Posted on 31st Oct 2014 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

Yesterday, i was called, last moment, for another meeting regarding my court case next Wednesday – it became a fire-filled, excellent moment! I’ll tell you why soon enough but first some background. For the newcomers here, the CEO of Knysna Tourism, Greg Vogt, has laid a charge of crimen injuria against me, Mike Hampton, and applied for a protection order. The latter case appears in court at 9am on Nov 5 2014. This is about Knysna Tourism and Knysna Municipality versus all of us. This is only one charge of … Read the full article…

Knysna ANC Councillors to be Disciplined

Mike Hampton Posted on 2nd Oct 2014 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

“People are frustrated. We cannot deny that our roads will never be like the roads going to The Heads. Money goes elsewhere.” -Councillor Wiseman Litoli (September 25 2014) Back in July this year i reported in ‘Priorities Disagreement Makes Special Development Meeting a Bust’ that a Special Planning, Development and Infrastructure Committee Meeting was called to discuss Knysna’s roads budget, a contentious and difficult issue considering the inadequate finances being received to fix our ailing infrastructure. It was supposed to be a ‘Special’ meeting about roads yet roads had been … Read the full article…

The Immaculate Conception of Greg Vogt (Part 3)

Mike Hampton Posted on 14th Aug 2014 by mikehampton16th Jan 2021

As with the manufacturing of Greg Vogt, so the appearance of transparency is manufactured rather than honesty itself. A new, wise CEO, free of our town’s politics and social groups would have made bigger windows and kicked Knysna Tourism’s door wide open. The appointment of Vogt only makes sense if it’s to continue to shut the public and Tourism’s members out. The choice of the right person to head the organisation should have spoken a lot by itself but when intending the insertion of Vogt they would have been aware … Read the full article…

A Golden Legal Opportunity – Thanks to Greg Vogt & Magda Moos

Mike Hampton Posted on 8th Aug 2014 by mikehampton1st Nov 2020

Greg Vogt and Magda Moos have presented a golden opportunity that will undoubtedly make others angry and uncomfortable. By laying 4 charges against me, Mike Hampton, they have presented an opportunity for me to get much of what is wrong in Knysna on record. It will be interesting when the likes of MEC Alan Winde, Municipal Manager Lauren Waring, DA Chair Peter Myers, ANC Chief Whip Stephen de Vries, Tourism Vice-Chair Nan Raturat and many more are eventually called to the witness stand in the Knysna Magistrate’s Court. Greg Vogt’s … Read the full article…
