Philippine Typhoon: 10 000 Estimated Dead
Called the Storm of the Century, Super Typhoon Haiyan a.k.a. Yolanda has left an estimated 10 000 dead in the Leyte province of the Philippines. 70% of the area has been ripped up by the sea and 300km/h winds. The storm was the size of the country and affected over 4million people in over 200 cities and towns. Massive homelessness expected.
