South Africa: 2019 National Election Results
South Africa’s fifth national elections since apartheid were held on 8 May 2019. The ANC won and the DA remained the official opposition party. Unchanged in words and position but not not in status quo. The Public expressed their dissatisfaction with their scandals by voting less than before. Others increased the share of the EFF, IFP, VF+ and ACDP. The UDM, AIC, COPE and NFP declined but each clung to two Parliamentary seats. New kids in the arena, GOOD and ATM, picked two seats too.
